| VH1: "If You Like" [01:00]# Two wacky spots for TV channel VH1, whose programming consists of celebrity news, music videos, and shows. The first of the two addresses the issue of opposites: in the same way that there is yin and yang, there must be an anti-rock star for every rock star. The one is surrounded by sexy groupies, while the other is content to catch a smile from the chambermaid. Yet then the two meet, and the world around them vanishes. They are floating in a kind of nirvana and peeing on one another. In the second, VH1 spoofs the current popularity of call-in voting. Callers are, for example, invited to vote for Miguel, the overrated Latino lover, or, perhaps, for the boob with the fake boobs. Super: “The Wonderful World of VH1.”
