Dong Hun
Lee and Jurgen Egger Ochseniusare the winners of the Lürzer's Archive Students Contest 2012!
Aspiring young creatives Dong Hun Lee and Jurgen Egger Ochsenius are the
winners of this year’s “Lürzer's Archive Student of the Year” award. They
impressed the jury – this time including Ben Gough, creative at Leo Burnett,
London, Francisco Valle, Brazil, Abolaji Alausa, Noah’s Ark, Lagos, and
Michael Weinzettl, Editor-in-Chief of Lürzer's Archive – with the ad they
created for adhesive brand Pattex. The design features a humorous take on
the many different ways in which the product can be used, the specific
example chosen being a model tank constructed from countless pieces of
plastic glued together.
Jurgen and Don Hung are honored to have been named “Students of the Year“:
“We are really proud of our work and this award is like a crown we get for
sleepless nights and countless hours of hard work. This takes us a step
further as creatives, and we are definitely going for more.”
This year’s Lürzer’s Archive Students of the Year award – a unique
Lürzer’s Archive trophy – will be presented at the Cristal Festival in
Montreux. Additionally, the winners will also be given a free subscription
to Lürzer’s Archive!
