Every ad that
has ever appeared in ARCHIVE or TV ARCHIVE is indexed by issue (V.20519
stands for Video, Volume 2, 2005, spot 19; 4.0302 stands for Print Campaign,
Volume 4, 2003, the 2nd campaign), geographic location, contributors, and
description.
BASIC SEARCH
You can do a basic
search by a person's name, job
title, city, or country.
Example 1:
Type in "Berlin
Photographer" and get a
list of photographers in
Berlin that have been
credited in the magazine.
Example 2:
Type in "2005/1 ad
agency" for a list of
all ad agencies credited in
the magazine issue 1/2005
Example 3:
Type in "ad agency
Germany automotive" and
get a list of all ad
agencies located in Germany
with work published in the
magazine's automotive
category.
ADVANCED SEARCH
Use the advanced search category fields to refine your search by category,
country, job title, key visual*, keyword* and time period. You can also type
an individual's name in the blank field under "Credits."
Narrow your search by selecting only "TV Commercials" or "Print
Campaigns." Expand your search by using a longer time period. Use the
Control key when making more than one selection per field.
Example 1:
To view all TV commercials from TV
ARCHIVE 1/2005, select "TV Commercials" under MEDIA, and select "01"
and "2005" for FROM and "01" and "2005" for TO.
Example 2:
To view US print campaigns from
1999 that feature animals, select "Animals" under CATEGORY, "USA"
under COUNTRY, "From 1999" and "To 1999" in PERIOD, and "Print
Campaigns" under MEDIA.
Example 3:
To view all ads done by Bartle
Bogle Hegarty between 1990 and 1995, select "Ad Agency" under
CREDITS, type "Bartle Bogle Hegarty" in the blank field, and select
"From 1990" and "To 1995" in PERIOD.
